The Springville Flying J

Honest to God, I have never been in a smaller shower room than here!!  I mean, you have to step out into the hall to change your mind!  The shower stall was just about as big as the little room part.  With hubby and I in there, we had to scooch and ooch around each other, leaning over the toilet or stepping into the stall to let the other by or to pick up something.

Still, it was very clean and cool.  Cool is a big deal to us.  What's the point of taking a shower only to get hot drying your hair and sweating.  Oh, yeah, that's happened too (most notably at the Petro in Claysville, PA, but that's another story at a later time).  So, kudos for the cool shower!

I give this one a 4 stars and only because of the shower size.  Everything else, just poiffect!! 

As Usual, The Corning Petro Is Tops!!

The shower was nice and clean AND I loff those big ol' shower heads!!  Lots of nice spray and easy to use.

The only thing I had a problem with was the sink didn't have a grate-thingy and I almost lost my earrings down the drain.  So for that reason, I'm going with 4 1/2 stars.  I would have a grate thing on my sink at home and I'd expect to have one in a truckstop.  Ain't that hard, knowwhutimean??  So, still, it's a good score, I'll go there any ol' time!! 

The Corning, CA Petro...

I like this place, always have.  Everything is really clean but I think it's about time they ante'd up and bought new towels and washcloths.  They are getting a liiiittle thin.  But, they were nice and cool, even after the shower.  To me, nothing worse than taking a shower in a hot shower room and end up sweating while trying to get your clothes or, in my case, my makeup on.  (Yes, I go full-rigged makeup!!) 

So, I'm giving the Corning Petro 4 stars!  A thumbs up from moi!!
